"I think he's playing the victim here, and I don't buy into his narrative," Windsor stated. "If you put a top-tier driver like Charles Leclerc in the other Red Bull, I believe they could have challenged Max and even won a championship. Red Bull has proven they can build two competitive cars, as seen with Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel. So, Perez's claims are simply not true."
And this is the part most people miss... Perez's success at Red Bull was significant, and he should be grateful for the opportunities he had. Windsor believes Perez is overlooking the fact that he won grands prix above his talent level and should be expressing gratitude instead of making excuses.
"He should be thanking Red Bull for those wins and acknowledging the team's golden days. Instead, he's buying into the hype and believing he could have beaten Max if the car was built around him. It's a ridiculous notion."
