Power Outages Hit Monroe County: Thousands Affected!
It's a frustrating situation: many residents in the Rochester area are currently dealing with a power outage. RG&E is reporting a significant impact, with over 1,400 people in Monroe County currently without electricity. That's a lot of homes and businesses in the dark!
But the issues don't stop there. Neighboring counties are also feeling the effects. Wayne County is reporting 587 outages, while Livingston County has 30. It's clear that this is a widespread problem impacting a significant portion of the region.
Now, here's where it gets a little more complex. While RG&E is dealing with its share of issues, The National Grid is also reporting outages. In Monroe County, they're showing 117 outages. Interestingly, Ontario County seems to be experiencing a greater impact from National Grid, with 252 reported outages.
